SSH Port Forwarding allows you to push encrypted traffic from your local machine to a remote machine using a specific port. Its great when you want to keep your database safely tucked behind a firewall and you have remote devices that need to push data into said database.
An easy script to establish an SSH connection from a remote device (A) to another remote device (B). From remote device B, you can log into remote device A. Reverse Tunneling makes for easy remote administration.
